Antrag mit ausländischen Bildungsnachweisen

Sie möchten am PZAI promovieren und haben Ihren Abschluss im Ausland erworben? Dann muss zunächst geprüft werden, ob Ihr Abschluss die Voraussetzung für eine Promotion in Deutschland erfüllt. 

Diese Prüfung ist kostenpflichtig, erfolgt über uni-assist und läuft in folgenden Schritten ab:

1. Sie stellen die nötigen Unterlagen zusammen:
   • Annahmegesuch
   • Zur Promotion berechtigendes Abschlusszeugnis in englischer Sprache
   • Kopie des Passes
2. Anmeldung und Bewerbung im Portal uni-assist (https://my.uni-assist.de)
   • Als Suchkriterium geben Sie bitte „Hochschule RheinMain“ ein und entfernen den Filter bei „Semester“
   • Begleichung der Gebühren
   • Hochladen der Dokumente
3. Zusendung der Prüfergebnisse
   • Das Ergebnis der Prüfung wird direkt an die Geschäftsstelle des PZAI weitergeleitet, Sie müssen hier also nicht tätig werden.

Would you like to do a doctorate at the PZAI and have your degree from abroad? Then it must first be checked whether your degree fulfils the requirements for a doctorate in Germany. 

This check is subject to a fee, is carried out by uni-assist and involves the following steps:

1. You prepare the necessary documents:
   • Application for acceptance
   • Degree certificate entitling you to a doctorate in English
   • Copy of your passport
2. Registration and application in the uni-assist portal (https://my.uni-assist.de)
   • Please enter ‘Hochschule RheinMain’ as the search criterion and remove the filter for ‘Semester’
   • Payment of the fees
   • Upload the documents
3. Sending the examination results
   • The result of the examination is forwarded directly to the PZAI office, so you do not need to take any action here.
